Literature Text

It seems like so long ago
That I wanted to let go,
That I longed to end my life,
Release my soul from this strife.
But I'm better now, it's true,
And you think I should thank you?
Someone helped me a while back,
She forced me onto the right track.
I had to truly want to so
Before you said to me, "please, no."
You said you were my only friend,
Would stay with me until the end.
But why do you now seem to care
When towards death I intently stare?
Sat on the edge for you to see
You weren't thinking carefully.
There was one who every day
Gave me the courage to say
That i can change who I'll become,
And I won't always feel so numb.
Everyone but her, only when
I fell the hardest, only then
Did they seem to stop staring
And tried to start caring.
I'm better now but thanks to me,
The one who could always see.
Wrote a long time ago.
